The parallels Are Ominous
I look at the news today and find the ignored or mislabeled fascism in America ominous. The many parallels between where we are as a country today and Germany in the 1930s when Hitler rose to power are astonishing and frightening. From fake insurrections to the belief that kids are the property of the state, the tidings are ominous. If you didn’t believe the party line, you were an enemy of the state and treated as such. They didn’t have a two party justice system, they had no justice system at all and there was nothing you could do about it. In most cases, you couldn’t even leave the country. We are quickly heading that way.
Major Event Parallels
A major event happened in 1933, ninety years ago. The government building in Berlin, the Reichstag, mysteriously burned to the ground prior to Hitler’s speech. The source of the fire was never made public, but many people were detained without charges because of it. It was like their January 6th. People simply disappeared into the prison system. It facilitated Adolph Hitler’s ascendency to power. From there, the Nazi party arrested, detained, and vilified all of their enemies. The accusations did not need not be proven. The accusations were prima fascia evidence. Today we have political prisoners in America.
Toe The Mark Or You’re a Terrorist
Hitler’s speech chastised all the political opponents of the Nazis. They were portrayed as terrorists and traitors. Hitler had the help of the newspapers and radio in turning the people against his perceived foes with unabashedly slanted news stories. There was no internet to provide a counterpoint. It wasn’t long before any media that didn’t go along with the party line was shut down or burned down. Today, it appears all cable media are voluntarily compliant. In fact, they appear complicit.
Surprise! Secret Meetings!
Secret, closed government meetings were held that excluded the opposition parties. The result of these meetings was the opposition was illegally voted out of office and jailed.
Christians Are Becoming The New Underclass
Even in Great Brittan, Nazis staged large marches against Jewish neighborhoods. The fascists were opposed by the unions and the leftwing labor party. The police stood by as the groups clashed and did nothing as the neighborhoods burned. Reminds me of what happened in Seattle. Nothing was done to the so-called mostly ‘peaceful’ protestors.
Law and order has become only a theory. It is still that way in many of our cities throughout our great land. If you are white or conservative or Christian, you are the new underclass. No more privilege for you. Today we are seeing discrimination against Christians and Jews in our institutions from our halls of education to our state houses.
Spain and Ukraine
There was a war going on in Spain pitting the nationalists against the Nazi backed Francisco Franco rebels. The Nazis provided arms and ammunition as well as logistical support to Franco. It was reminiscent of what is going on in the Ukraine today. It was a Nazi war by proxy.
They Turn Us Against Each Other
Once the Nazis took over Germany, they consolidated power, destroying all opposition. If you weren’t with them, you were evil and bad. They encouraged children to become part of the Hitler Youth and poisoned their minds against their parents. They controlled what they learned and with whom they associated. The children were considered owned by the state and not their parents. The things they were taught were kept from their parents. The state knows better than the parents about raising children. It led to many parents being spied upon by their own children. It pitted family against family. And now, today it seems like, for many of us, the family Thanksgiving dinner will never be the same.
Even Life Is No Longer Sacred
Early on, Hitler had a program called Aktion T4. It was all about euthanizing imperfect people, very old people, and birth defective babies. Hundreds of humans were killed each week. Over 300,000 were killed by the time the program was stopped. Of course, we don’t kill live babies here in America, do we??
Alliances Fail
At the time, Europe had an organization similar to NATO, the League of Nations. It was supposed to defuse volatile political situations like these. The US created it but never joined it. You can guess how well that made their mission work. Alliances fail and dissolve.
It can’t happen here, right?? If you doubt me, go read history. It isn’t being hidden from you, but you must put in the effort.
It Starts With Social Distancing And Masks
Do you remember how easily we were all manipulated just a couple of years ago with ‘social distancing’ and masks? Even those who resisted couldn’t go to their doctor without compliance. It was all based on a false pretense. That is now a known fact. A vast majority of the public was sold a bill of goods and bought into it hook, line, and sinker. They viewed any doubters as fools and dangerous. This included doctors and healthcare workers whom I would have expected to have known better.
The simplest fact was trying to stop a .5 micron particle with a mask that wouldn’t keep anything out that was smaller than 4 microns. And the doctors didn’t know better? Really!? That’s like using a chain link fence to hold back mosquitoes. I know I was screeched at and threatened by fools who never learned to think and never questioned authority. It’s unfortunately all too easy to manipulate the public. Soon, the truth will become unknown.
Trans-What?
How long ago was it that you never even heard the word, ‘Trans’? Or heard the expressions Non-binary or the existence of micro-aggressions? How about ‘cancel culture?” It’s like overnight we fell into madness. That’s how fast it happened in Nazi Germany in 1933, 90 years ago.
