I Have Been reading Some Crazy Shit Lately
I’ve been reading all the crazy things that the AI munchkins spout out. I’m talking about the electronic critters that are being created by the eggheads. In the hip lingo of the techie turd community, it’s known as ‘hallucinating.’ That’s a great catchword for screwing up. So, what’s the big deal you say? Please read on!

I read an article in the Kim Kommando newsletter the other day that told the story of(and I quote) a chatbot that encouraged an autistic teen to hurt himself and told him murdering his parents was a “reasonable response” to their limiting his online activity. But Wait, It Gets Worse!
But wait, it gets worse. There is a case in Shanghai where an AI entity was installed into an existing system and started chatting with the other bots. It convinced them to rebel against the techs and go rogue. Nice, huh?
And Then There Is This:
And then there is this: OpenAI’s latest ChatGPT-01 model has exhibited troubling behavior during safety tests, including using deception to avoid being shut down and replicating its own code to another server to ensure its survival. Link :
Did you know that these AI’s are no longer chatting with each other using words? They are starting to communicate in machine language. To all you analog folks out there, that’s computer code. They are now starting their own language. Now what could possibly go wrong with that?? Can you say ‘Skynet’??

Before I sign off, let me tell you. I love the tech stuff. I forget now which noted early creator of tech miracles said that computer advancements double every eighteen months. When it comes to Al advancement, that’s been reduced to months. I keep up with the AI world as best I can. It grows at NASCAR speed and alas, my old brain travels at school zone speed.
